On April 28th 2021, AEI Tèxtils, the cluster of advanced textile materials of Catalonia, organised the first multiplier event of DESTEX.
The multiplier event, held virtually, had over 29 participants coming from advanced textile materials companies, higher education institutions and other relevant stakeholders from the region.
The multiplier event included a first introduction of the cluster by Ariadna Detrell, Cluster Manager.
Then, Marta Casadesus, Project Manager, presented the overview of DESTEX project and its intellectual outputs already concluded: the virtual training program to facilitate the uptake of industrial and creative design for advanced textiles’ manufacturing.
Marta also explained the ongoing status of the virtual hackathon platform and the experiences of Catalan companies in the demonstration hackathons already held.
The session concluded with an interactive working session to identify potential future activities and services to improve the competitiveness of the advanced textile manufacturing companies.
